Adani Green Energy gets SECI’s LOA for 600MW wind-solar hybrid power project in India

Adani Renewable Energy Holding Eight, a fully-owned subsidiary of Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) has been granted a letter of award (LOA) for installing a 600MW wind-solar hybrid power project in India.

Adani Green Energy’s subsidiary took part in a tender issued by the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) for installing 1.2GW ISTS-connected wind-solar hybrid power project.

According to Adani Green Energy, the fixed tariff for the wind-solar hybrid power project capacity is INR 2.41/ kWh for a period of 25 years.

The hybrid power project is anticipated to be commissioned in 18 months from the effective date of power purchase agreement.

Adani Green Energy said that the new project win will take its total renewable energy project capacity to 14.8GW, of which 2.95GW projects are operational, while 11.84GW projects are under implementation.
