Accenture bolsters risk management capabilities with Optimind acquisition

Accenture (NYSE: ACN) has closed the acquisition of Optimind, a Paris-based independent consulting firm offering advisory services and solutions to insurance companies, banks, and large corporations. The announcement, initially made on March 17, 2023, reveals the firm’s strategy to address competitiveness, transformation, and regulatory challenges. The financial details of the acquisition remain undisclosed.

Founded in 2000, Optimind boasts over 350 highly skilled professionals, including more than 110 actuaries, offering services to clients primarily in France and Luxembourg. The firm was recognized with the 2022 EcoVadis Gold Medal for its commendable corporate social responsibility policy.

Post-acquisition, Optimind’s team of over 350 professionals, which includes over 110 actuaries, will integrate with Accenture to bolster its ability to provide clients with qualitative and quantitative risk management and compliance services.
