Electromagnetic Geoservices wins contract for CSEM acquisition in Caribbean

Electromagnetic Geoservices (EMGS) said that it has bagged a proprietary survey for executing a controlled-source electromagnetic (CSEM) acquisition in the Caribbean from an undisclosed international oil company.

The Norwegian geophysical services company expects the CSEM survey to begin in late Q3 2022 or in early Q4 2022.

The approximate acquisition duration of the survey is 60 days.

According to Electromagnetic Geoservices, the scope of the final acquisition under the contract, which has a maximum value of around $11 million, is yet to be fixed.
