Sandvik wraps up acquisition of Mastercam developer CNC Software

Swedish engineering company Sandvik has wrapped up its previously announced acquisition of US-based CNC Software, a CAD/CAM software solutions provider for manufacturing industries.

CNC Software had developed Mastercam, a computer aided manufacturing (CAM) brand in the industry.

The deal was announced in August 2021.

Last year, CNC Software had registered revenues of nearly $60 million.

Sandvik said that it will report CNC Software in the design and planning automation division within its manufacturing and machining solutions business.
