Dar Al-Handasah Consultants secures new framework agreement with Aramco

Dar Al-Handasah Consultants, also known as Shair and Partners and a part of Sidara, has announced a significant expansion of its consultancy services for Saudi Aramco under an amended framework agreement. Awarded in December 2023, the agreement extends Dar’s role in providing comprehensive consultancy services, including engineering, design, project management, and multidisciplinary support for both existing and new infrastructure projects. This new arrangement adds five years to the current General Engineering and Project Management Services – Infrastructure (GESi) agreement and includes an option for a further three-year extension.

The amendment to the existing framework agreement marks a continuation of Dar Al-Handasah’s long-standing relationship with Saudi Aramco, which began in 1957. This extended agreement is expected to bolster the delivery of innovative and transformative infrastructure projects across various sectors. The agreement allows Dar Al-Handasah to leverage its expertise and capabilities to further support Aramco’s strategic objectives and contribute to its ambitious projects.

Since its establishment in 1957, Dar Al-Handasah has been instrumental in delivering over 600 projects across Saudi Arabia, serving more than 100 clients. With seven offices strategically located across major cities in the Kingdom and a workforce of over 3,000 employees, including more than 1,000 Saudi nationals, Dar has significantly contributed to the development of Saudi Arabia’s infrastructure. The company has been a key player in several high-profile giga-projects aligned with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.
