Univar Solutions to acquire specialty chemicals distributor Kale Kimya

Univar Solutions, an American solutions provider to users of specialty ingredients and chemicals, has agreed to acquire Kale Kimya, a Turkish specialty chemicals distributor.

The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Founded in 1975, Kale Kimya offers formulation laboratory capabilities and technical know-how along with a product portfolio of beauty and personal care products, and industrial and home cleaning products which include surfactants, emulsifiers, actives, UV filters, preservatives, polymers, fragrances, esters, conditioners, and emollients.

The deal, which is conditional on some regulatory approvals, is likely to close during Q1 2023.
