7‑Eleven launches new sports drink 7-Select Replenish

US convenience stores chain 7‑Eleven has introduced – 7-Select Replenish, a new sports drink that can replace electrolytes and minerals lost during exercise or strenuous activity.

7-Select Replenish is claimed to contain no artificial sweeteners or high-fructose corn syrup. The new 7‑Eleven sports drink, which is sweetened with stevia and real sugar, will help meet sodium, potassium, calcium and magnesium requirements.

The electrolyte hydration beverage is said to be packed with 15 grams of sugar and 60 calories per serving or 150 calories per 28-ounce bottle.

Commenting on the launch of 7-Select Replenish, Tim Cogil – senior director of 7‑Eleven private brands, said: “7‑Eleven is one of the leading beverage retailers for a reason. 7-Select Replenish, which is available exclusively at 7‑Eleven stores, contains 100% of the daily values of vitamins A, E, Niacin (B3), B5 and Pantothenic Acid (B6) per 12-ounce serving.
