Zeno Nutrition adds three new flavors to ZenoBar
Zeno Nutrition has added three new flavors to its range of low net-carb keto bar – ZenoBar in the form of Strawberry Nut, Almond Nut, and Cocoa Chip, as per the latest food product launch news.
The new ZenoBar flavors are packed with a selection of nuts and seeds while the ultra-low net carbs and keto status of the bars have been retained.
ZenoBar is said to be unique among the many energy bars available in the market as it uses the sweetener allulose and a resistant dextrin binder prepared from organic tapioca. As a result, the keto bar has the sweetness of sugar but has a low effect on blood sugar or insulin levels.
Russell Long – cofounder of Zeno Nutrition said: “At ZenoBar, we are on a mission to help spread the health benefits of a plant-based, low-carb lifestyle.
“A high-fiber, low net-carb diet helps keep blood sugars low and supports long-term health.”
Available at Amazon.com and zenobar.com as 3-packs, 6-packs, 12-packs, and 24-packs, ZenoBar is claimed to be the first vegan energy bar targeting specifically those with low-glucose goals – pre-diabetics, diabetics, and those undertaking a low-carb, ketogenic, or paleo diet.
The two diabetic cofounders of ZenoBar are claimed to have tested more than 2,000 different recipes for glycemic impact using their glucose meters.
The natural flavors in ZenoBar are derived from pure plant ingredients including diced almonds and pecans, cocoa powder, sunflower and pumpkin seeds, and organic strawberries.
Some of the key attributes of ZenoBar are keto, vegan, non-GMO, gluten-free, soy-free, and dairy-free. The keto bar contains 3-4 net carbs and 8 grams of fiber.
Susan Papuga – cofounder of Zeno Nutrition said: “Because of our sensitivity to carbs it was easy to see the glycemic effect from different ingredients and other brands of bars. ZenoBar has the lowest glucose response of any bar we’ve tried.”
