Wipro to help Malaysia-based Maxis Broadband in IT transformation

Indian IT services provider Wipro has won a multi-year contract from Maxis Broadband, a Malaysian converged solutions provider, for supporting its IT transformation journey.

Under the contract, Wipro will be responsible for providing various aspects of IT managed services for Maxis Broadband for hybrid Infrastructure and application maintenance.

Apart from that, the Indian IT firm will enable new ways of working for application development and testing services and offer cybersecurity services for Maxis Broadband.

Wipro will support Maxis Broadband by utilizing its global service delivery model, expertise in the telecommunications domain, and its augmented Intelligence and hyper-automation platform — Wipro Holmes. This will further modernize, simplify, automate, and standardize part of the global IT Managed Services and testing functions of the Malaysian converged solutions provider.

Besides, Maxis Broadband will be able to consolidate several of its current vendors across non-core application support and development, cyber security, infrastructure maintenance, and new ways of working.
