Wipro, TEOCO to develop next generation network solutions for CSPs

Wipro has joined forces with TEOCO, a Virginia-based telecom software vendor, for developing solutions to help communication service providers (CSPs) enhance network automation, flexibility, efficiency, and reliability.

The partnership aims to offer comprehensive solutions to CSPs for planning, analyzing, optimizing, and monitoring next-generation networks (NGN).

Atul Jain — TEOCO founder and CEO said: “TEOCO has deployed its Helix, ASSET and Mentor Suites at more than 100 CSPs globally, providing differentiated point solutions for Service Assurance, RAN Planning and RAN Optimization.

“Partnering with Wipro enables us to work together to bring future-fit technologies to market and deliver next-generation innovations as part of their offerings.”

The solutions offered by TEOCO and Wipro will enable CSPs to manage growth in their networks and forecast the needs for investment, increase operational efficiencies, and improve the quality of networks.

The partners will establish a new NGN Center of Excellence (CoE) to assist CSPs to create new services that are innovative and advanced use scenarios. The combination of solutions and CoE will allow CSPs to enhance their customer offerings and maximize the potential of revenue from new technologies like 5G, analytics based on the edge, as well as the Internet of Things (IoT).
