Wipro ropes in Badrinath Srinivasan as Southeast Asia managing director

Indian IT services provider Wipro has appointed Badrinath Srinivasan (Badri) as the managing director for the company’s Southeast Asian operations.

According to the company, Badrinath Srinivasan will focus on its vision for the growth of the business, expansion of revenue, talent development, client and influencer relationships, and brand building. He is also expected to bolster the major markets of Southeast Asia focusing on large deals as well as strategic transformational engagements.

His most recent role was at Infosys where he was the Asia leader for the financial services and insurance verticals.

Badrinath Srinivasan had put in almost 20 years at Infosys during which he held various leadership positions in sales and consulting in the US, Asia-Pacific, and Europe markets. He had also partnered with customers across industry verticals to steer their agendas on digital transformation.

Besides, Badrinath Srinivasan is said to have led strategic initiatives in Asia, which include driving mergers and acquisitions, forming joint ventures, and setting up strategic partner ecosystems.

Badrinath Srinivasan, who is based in Singapore, will report to N.S. Bala.
