Wipro ropes in Anis Chenchah as APMEA region CEO

Wipro has appointed as a member of the company’s executive board and chief executive officer (CEO) of Asia Pacific, , Middle East, and Africa (APMEA) region.

According to , Anis Chenchah has more than 20 years of experience in consulting, IT, and business process services.

Anis Chenchah comes from Capgemini where he was in the role of global CEO of Capgemini Business Services as well as member of the group executive committee. Before that, the new Wipro AMEA CEO held various leadership roles in Capgemini Financial Services in Europe and the Middle East.

Anis Chenchah has a Master’s degree in Engineering from ENSISA in France. He takes over from N S Bala, who was the CEO of the APMEA Strategic Market Unit for the last year but had to move back to the US owing to personal reasons.
