Wipro Infrastructure Engineering has announced the acquisition of Columbus Hydraulics, a prominent US-based hydraulic cylinder manufacturer, in a move that significantly boosts its presence in North America. Established in 1952, Columbus Hydraulics has earned a strong reputation for delivering custom hydraulic solutions across various industries, including agriculture, construction, turf maintenance, and marine applications. This acquisition is part of Wipro Infrastructure Engineering’s broader strategy to enhance its manufacturing capabilities and expand its market reach.

Pratik Kumar, Chief Executive Officer of Wipro Infrastructure Engineering and Managing Director of Wipro Enterprises, highlighted that the acquisition of Columbus Hydraulics will bolster Wipro Hydraulics’ position in North America. By incorporating Columbus Hydraulics’ expertise, Wipro aims to offer more comprehensive hydraulic solutions to its customers.
