Wipro Limited has entered into a collaboration with Oracle to introduce Wipro Zero Cost Transformation – a new offering to help organizations with their cloud migration.

The Indian IT services company is a member of Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN).

According to Wipro, as enterprises try to get value from the cloud, their journey is hindered usually by huge costs, ineffective implementations, and also slow processes.

By implementing Zero Cost Transformation, organizations can migrate their workloads to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) with reduced cost, shift from a capital expenditure (CapEx) to operating expenses (OpEx) model. At the same time, organizations will get application and infrastructure support given under a managed-services framework, said Wipro.

Furthermore, Zero Cost Transformation removes the challenge of handling various service providers for cloud migration and support, said Wipro.

The Indian IT services provider said that the new offering also helps facilitate a seamless and risk-mitigated migration as it is an Oracle Managed Service Expertise partner.

Delivered in collaboration with Oracle, Zero Cost Transformation offers organizations access to best-in-class enterprise security and technology innovation, claimed Wipro.

The new offering is said to have been built on its six-step migration methodology and proprietary tools and accelerators for enabling a quick and secure migration to OCI with a decreased total cost of ownership.
