Wipro said that it has appointed Wagner Jesus as country head and managing director for the company’s Brazilian operations.
Wagner Jesus, who joined the India-based IT services provider three years ago, will lead the non-financial business cluster. In his stint so far at Wipro, Wagner Jesus is said to have a key role in domestic and global accounts, while establishing relationships successfully within the region.
Wipro said that he had been a catalyst for notable change within the firm and is an influential leader spearheading its most recent acquisitions while fueling growth in Brazil.

Wagner Jesus has a Harvard Business School’s management certification, a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) by FIAP in Brazil, and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Vale do Paraiba University in Brazil.
