Wipro appoints Wagner Jesus as head of Brazilian operations

Wipro said that it has appointed as country head and managing director for the company’s Brazilian operations.

Wagner Jesus, who joined the -based IT services provider three years ago, will lead the non-financial business cluster. In his stint so far at , Wagner Jesus is said to have a key role in domestic and global accounts, while establishing relationships successfully within the region.

Wipro said that he had been a catalyst for notable change within the firm and is an influential leader spearheading its most recent acquisitions while fueling growth in .

Wagner Jesus has a Harvard Business School’s management certification, a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) by FIAP in Brazil, and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Vale do Paraiba University in Brazil.
