Wipro Appirio selected by National Grid for digital transformation

Wipro said that it subsidiary Appirio has been selected by utilities company National Grid for transforming its business with an omnichannel customer experience.

In this connection, Appirio will be helping National Grid unify its engagement with 68 million customers across two continents through a hybrid integration platform.

Wipro said that Appirio continues to work with the utilities company to create a unified customer experience for eight million customers across three American states, five clouds, and eight subsidiary companies, and also 60 million customers in the UK.

Appirio is said to be connecting various marketing channels, thereby removing legacy system data silos, and extending its reach to customers and call centers with MuleSoft integration platform and also reusable Application Programming Interface (APIs).
