Wipro and ServiceNow roped in by Petrobras to advance digital journey
Wipro said that the company and ServiceNow have been roped in by Brazilian oil and gas company Petrobras in advancing its digital journey.
According to Wipro, the state-owned Brazilian firm will look to improve the level of service for internal users and cut down costs by modernizing and aligning IT infrastructure processes with the business by implementing a modern cloud solution focused on automation as well as integration.
The scope of the digital journey project pertains to maintaining IT assets, updates of systems, and digitization of processes.
Marcelo Carreras — Petrobras executive ICT manager said: “We want to ensure that the volume of information generated by the company’s operations is processed even more intelligently and safely, contributing to decision-making in an agile and assertive manner.
“Petrobras’ investment in digital transformation and innovation, which aims to add value to the business, also meets the company’s demand for digitalization of corporate processes.”
Wipro said that its solution for Petrobras will also offer increased availability of technology infrastructure, visibility, and cost control of IT assets to back the long-term growth of the latter’s business.
