Westfall-O’Dell Truck Sales to be acquired by Nextran Truck Centers

Nextran Truck Centers, a US-based commercial truck dealer network, has agreed to acquire Kansas City-based Westfall GMC Truck and Westfall-O’Dell based in Colorado.

The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Nextran Truck Centers said that the acquisition of Westfall-O’Dell will grow its presence from 18 locations in the Southeast to 25 locations in Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Kansas, Missouri, Colorado, and Wyoming.

The company said that the acquisition will be among the largest Volvo Trucks or Mack Trucks dealer acquisitions to have been executed in the last five years.

Established in 1951, Westfall-O’Dell is said to be among the most respected dealer groups in the Midwest. The company represents Volvo Trucks, GMC Trucks, Mack Trucks, and Kalmar Ottawa.

Westfall-O’Dell’s addition is expected to grow Nextran Truck Centers’ sales, parts, and service business to new markets in North America, while also adding GMC Trucks and Kalmar Ottawa to its lineup of OEMs.

Westfall-O’Dell marks the third acquisition of Nextran Truck Centers in the last 36 months.

Following the closing of the deal, Nextran Truck Centers will employ more than 1,200 people and expects sales of more than 4,500 new and used commercial trucks annually.

The commercial truck dealer network will also have a total capacity of 440 service bays in its 25 locations in seven states.

The deal is expected to be wrapped up in early Q3 2021.
