Weatherford secures three-year drilling services contract from Aramco

Weatherford International, a Switzerland-based oilfield services provider, has announced that it has been awarded a three-year contract with Saudi Aramco, the world’s largest oil producer, to deliver drilling services.

Under the terms of the contract, Weatherford will leverage its extensive drilling services portfolio, which encompasses a comprehensive suite of cutting-edge technologies, services, and advanced drilling tools. This integrated offering is designed to enhance operational efficiency, optimize production, and minimize operational expenditures (OPEX) for Aramco’s drilling operations.
