WBM Technologies acquires PrinterWorks West to bolster managed print support in Alberta

WBM Technologies, a managed IT solutions provider, has announced its acquisition of PrinterWorks West, a print technology solutions provider in Alberta, Canada.

This strategic move brings together two strong managed print support organizations and underscores the companies’ commitment to their unified customer community in Alberta.

With the addition of PrinterWorks West, WBM Technologies will expand its team of dedicated Managed Print Support Technicians in Alberta to over 50 professionals. Furthermore, the acquisition will result in the establishment of a new support service location in Fort McMurray.

The combined companies will now have a workforce of more than 570 employees, positioning them as the leading managed IT solutions provider in Western Canada.

Under the acquisition agreement, Darryl Henderson, the current leader of PrinterWorks West, will continue to lead the team in Alberta and join the WBM Technologies Leadership team. Meanwhile, Jonathan Ceaser, the founder of PrinterWorks West, will retire, marking the conclusion of his successful career.

The effective date of the acquisition is June 1, 2023. PrinterWorks West will continue to operate under its existing brand name, now “Powered by WBM,” with no disruptions or changes to customer services.
