Vikas Ecotech advances steel pipe fittings and gas pipes manufacturing projects

Vikas Ecotech Limited said that it has finalized the location for its steel pipe fittings manufacturing unit in Uttar Pradesh while starting civil work pertaining to a gas pipes manufacturing project in Rajasthan.

The New Delhi-based company is engaged mainly in the business of speciality chemicals such as speciality additives and speciality polymer compounds.

Vikas Ecotech said that its new steel pipe fittings manufacturing unit will be located at Prakash Industrial Estate in Ghaziabad district. The company’s technical team has wrapped up the study and design of the manufacturing process by completing the blueprint of the manufacturing plant.

The team has also finalized the equipment and began the process of ordering the equipment as needed.

According to Vikas Ecotech, the steel pipe fittings will be supplied mostly to the public health engineering department projects in five states initially, which will include Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Madhya Pradesh, and Rajasthan.

The speciality chemicals manufacturer has allotted a Capex of nearly INR 70 million and a provision for approximately INR 90 million for the project.

On the other hand, the company is working on erecting the structure for housing the gas pipes manufacturing plant in Shahjahanpur, Rajasthan.

Vikas Ecotech hopes to wrap up the civil work by the year-end and commission the machines in the fourth quarter of FY 22. The company will look to pitch for various tenders and contracts with IGL and GAIL projects by the start of next year.

The gas pipes manufacturing project in Rajasthan will be given a Capex of nearly INR 60 million and a provision for around INR 120 million.
