V-Guard Industries Ltd, an Indian electrical appliances manufacturer, said that it has made a further investment of INR 20.4 crores in V-Guard Consumer Products Limited (VCPL), its fully-owned subsidiary.

V-Guard Consumer Products is engaged in establishing and carrying on manufacturing and selling of various consumer electrical, electronics, electromechanical products and home and kitchen appliances of all types —electrical as well as non-electrical and such other allied products.

According to the Kochi-based V-Guard Industries, V-Guard Consumer Products is a wholly-owned subsidiary and the entity comes within its related party. The electrical appliances manufacturer said that its promoters are interested in the subsidiary to the extent of their shareholding in the company.
