US Foods expands distribution network with Renzi Foodservice acquisition

US Foods Holding Corp., an American foodservice distributor, confirmed that it has finalized its acquisition of Renzi Foodservice, a broadline distributor based in Watertown, New York.

The deal, which was announced in May 2023, represents US Foods’ first strategic acquisition since April 2020, and the first under CEO Dave Flitman’s leadership. The terms of the transaction remain undisclosed.

This acquisition allows US Foods to significantly enhance its distribution capabilities in central upstate New York, a region where it currently lacks a distribution center. By integrating Renzi Foodservice into its operations, US Foods aims to broaden its reach and penetrate new markets.
