U.S. army boosts ISR capabilities with Bombardier Global 6500 aircraft

Bombardier Defense has achieved a major milestone with the delivery of its first Global 6500 aircraft to the United States Army. The aircraft will be instrumental in the High Accuracy Detection and Exploitation System (HADES) program, enhancing the Army’s intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities. Andrew Evans, Director of the Army’s ISR Task Force, expressed confidence in the Global 6500’s role as the core of the HADES program. He highlighted its unmatched range, payload capacity, and endurance as essential features for delivering actionable intelligence in real-time, enabling the Army to address complex security challenges.

Its reliability is further highlighted by a 99.83% dispatch rate and up to 750 flight hours between maintenance cycles, reducing downtime and enhancing mission readiness.
