TVS Srichakra launches TVS Eurogrip adventure touring and superbike tyres
TVS Srichakra has launched adventure touring tyres and superbike tyres under the TVS Eurogrip brand in Chennai in the presence of MS Dhoni and other Chennai Super Kings (CSK) players.
The Indian tyre manufacturer also introduced new products like Roadhound, Terrabite, and Duratrail alongside other range extensions in the motorcycle tubeless segment.
According to TVS Srichakra, Roadhound is a zero-degree steel belted radial tire intended to be used for superbikes to provide excellent handling, grip, and mileage. It is said to be excellent for high speeds and its silica compound improves wet grip, while its advanced tread design improves comfort and stability.
Duratrail pattern EB+ is a block-like aligned pattern that provides greater grip and is perfect for off-road use, claimed TVS Srichakra. The grooves offer greater stability and efficiency, and the width increases outwards from the centre to get rid of water faster.
The ability to corner is an exceptional characteristic of this product. This is can be achieved through the shoulder profile that is rounded, said the tyre manufacturer.
On the other hand, Terrabite DB+ is said to be a durable tyre that is designed to withstand the toughest off-roads and rough terrains. Its bigger blocks give superior grip and its strong construction and deeper treads are claimed to offer long-lasting durability.
P Madhavan — TVS Srichakra EVP of Sales and Marketing said: “Launching a range of adventure touring and superbike tyres is a big milestone for us, further augmenting our product range, which is already the widest in the category. I am glad we have been able to do it in the presence of our business partners and CSK stars.
“These high-performance products have been designed in Europe and built to suit Indian road conditions. Many of these products are already launched internationally, and we have strong positive initial feedback from trade and consumers alike, so it gives us great happiness to bring these to the Indian market.”
