TVS Srichakra debuts Steel Belted Agro Industrial Radial Tyres at Tire Cologne 2024

TVS Srichakra, one of India’s largest manufacturers and exporters of tyres, unveiled its new Steel Belted Agro Industrial Radial Tyres at The Tire Cologne 2024, a leading international trade fair for the tyre industry held in Cologne, Germany. This launch marks a significant expansion in TVS Srichakra’s product offerings, particularly in the agro-industrial segment.

Pioneering Agro-Industrial Tyre Technology

The newly introduced Steel Belted Agro Industrial Radial Tyre represents the first of its kind in this market segment and is designed for use in telescopic handlers, compact wheel loaders, and backhoe loaders. These tyres are tailored for both agricultural and industrial applications, enhancing the versatility and performance of heavy machinery. At the event, TVS Srichakra showcased two sizes of these innovative tyres – 460/70R24 for telehandlers and 340/80R18 for the front axle of backhoe loaders.

Broadening Product Range in Two-Wheeler and Off-Highway Tyres

In addition to the agro-industrial radials, TVS Srichakra also displayed a variety of products from its two-wheeler and off-highway tyre categories. Highlights included the Bee Connect range, designed for urban scooter use; Roadhound tyres, crafted for sport touring with advanced quadrazone technology; and Protorq Extreme, a sporty steel belt radial suitable for both track and road use. The off-road range featured models like Climber XC, Climber XC-R, and Climber MX Junior, catering to the needs of Motocross and Enduro enthusiasts.

The soon-to-be-launched Trail Road range, comprising Trailhound SCR and Trailhound STR, was also on display, demonstrating TVS Srichakra’s commitment to expanding its product offerings in the near future.

Strategic Focus on European Market

The event also featured TVS Srichakra’s complete range of agricultural radial patterns, including the Tigertrac AR 800 tractor radial, RC 900 Rowcrop radial, HS 3000 radial tyre with VF (Very High Flexion) technology, and the HS 1000 R-1 tyre designed for combine harvesters and spreaders. The FL 909 steel belted tyre was highlighted in the flotation radial segment.

Global Networking and Industry Innovation

The Tire Cologne 2024 proved to be a major international networking forum, attracting more than 370 exhibitors—a more than 85 percent increase from previous events. The expo not only showcased tyres and wheels but also emphasized motor vehicle and tyre workshop equipment, tyre retreading, and the recycling and disposal of old tyres.
