Tru Kids Brands to open first Toys”R”Us store in US at Paramus, NJ

Tru Kids Brands, the new parent company of Toys”R”Us, has announced the comeback of the toy store chain in the US through the opening of its first new retail store in the country at Paramus, New Jersey.

Toys”R”Us had filed for bankruptcy in September 2017 in the US and in the UK its operations entered administration in early 2018. The toy store chain went on to close all its stores in the UK and the US subsequently and in Australia as well after meeting the same fate.

In January 2019, Toys”R”Us came out of bankruptcy emerging as a new company called Tru Kids Brands, while retaining the popular brand of the toy store chain.

The first new store of Toys”R”Us is located at the Westfield Garden State Plaza and will be opened on 30 November.

Another Toys”R”Us store, the second new store in the US, will open at The Galleria, a Simon Mall in Houston, Texas on 7 December 2019.
