Trident Limited has reported a profit after tax (PAT) of INR 2,091 million for the third quarter of the fiscal year 2022 (Q3 FY22), a 30.9% increase compared to INR 1,597.6 million in the same quarter of the previous fiscal year.
The Indian textile and paper manufacturer, which is part of the Trident Group, had a profit after tax of INR 2,288 million in Q2 FY22.
Trident Limited’s earnings per share (EPS) for the reported quarter ended 31 December 2021 were INR 0.42 compared to an EPS of INR 0.31 in Q3 FY21.
The company earned a total income of INR 19,611.2 million in Q3 FY22, a 51.4% increase compared to INR 12,949.3 million in the same quarter of the fiscal year 2021.
Its textile segment’s revenue was INR 17,059.3 million in Q3 FY22 compared to INR 11,077.7 million in Q3 FY21. On the other hand, the revenue of the company’s paper segment was INR 2,519.5 million in Q3 FY22 as compared to INR 1,824.1 million in Q3 FY21.
