Trident completes commissioning of Budhni solar power plant in MP

Trident Limited, an Indian textile and paper manufacturer, said that it has completed the commissioning of 8.87MWp solar power project at Budhni, Madhya Pradesh.

The company achieved the full commissioning of the Budhni solar power plant by starting operations of the 3.39MWp phase 2 capacity. The Budhni solar power plant is meant for captive use.

Phase 1 of the Trident solar power plant in Budhni, consisting of a 5.48MWp capacity was commissioned a few days ago.

The textile and paper manufacturer will use the power produced from the Budhni solar power plant for its manufacturing facilities located across Budhni.

Trident stated: “Moving towards a greener planet, the Group aims to use renewable and clean energy for reducing carbon emission.”
