Rise in Terror Activities since Ceasefire End!

Terror activities have seen a surge in Pakistan, especially in the regions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, since the TTP ended its ceasefire with the government in November last year. A report published in July by the think tank Pakistan Institute for Conflict and Security Studies indicated a steady and alarming rise in terror and suicide attacks in the first half of the current year. At least 389 people have lost their lives in attacks across the country.

This harrowing event serves as a grim reminder of the persistent threat of terrorism that looms over Pakistan, putting the spotlight on the urgent need for effective counter-terrorism measures.
