Thermax bags Rs 545.6cr order from public sector firm for two FGD systems

Thermax Limited said that it has bagged an order worth INR 545.6 crores from an Indian public sector power company to install systems (FGD systems) for two 500MW coal-fired power units in .

According to the Pune-based engineering company, the FGD systems will be installed at the thermal power plant to reduce emissions of sulphur oxide (Sox) apart from adhering to the air quality standards set for the two units.

The scope of supply for Thermax Limited includes design, engineering, manufacturing, civil work, construction, and commissioning of the FGD systems. The project is scheduled to be executed in 30 months.
