TGE to sell Hoosier Line Wind project and Honey Creek Solar project

Tri Global Energy (TGE) has signed an agreement with Leeward Renewable Energy to sell two of its renewable energy projects in Indiana – the 180MW Hoosier Line Wind project and the 400MW Honey Creek Solar project.

The financial details of the transaction were not revealed. The deal was announced in late April 2021.

Both the wind and solar power projects are in White County in northwestern Indiana and are scheduled to begin operations as early as 2023.

This is the first deal between the two Dallas-based firms and the first renewable project sales for Tri Global Energy in Indiana.

The Hoosier Line Wind project and the Honey Creek Solar project were launched in 2019 with Tri Global Energy as the project developer.  As per the sale agreement, the company will continue as a co-development partner with Leeward Renewable Energy.
