Tech Mahindra said that it will acquire New Jersey-based IT services company Brainscale through its fully-owned subsidiary Tech Mahindra (Americas) for a sum of up to $28.8 million.

The consideration includes earnouts.

Brainscale is a cloud-focused company specializing in cloud consulting, enablement, application development, and data analytics.

Incorporated in 2007, the IT services company headquartered in Princeton, reported $10 million in revenue in 2020.

Tech Mahindra said that the acquisition of Brainscale will strengthen its consulting capabilities in the cloud transformation space and will allow it to drive the growth of cloud related IT services in the North American market.

The deal is anticipated to be wrapped up by mid-August 2021.

In April this year, Tech Mahindra through Tech Mahindra (Americas), announced the acquisition of US-based business process services provider Eventus Solutions Group for up to $44 million.  In the same month, the Indian IT company signed a $120 million deal to acquire California-based hybrid cloud and DevOps services provider DigitalOnUS.
