Tech Mahindra roped in by Asahi subsidiary for IT modernization
Tech Mahindra has been roped in by Asahi Europe & International, a subsidiary of Japanese drinks company Asahi Group, to lead an enterprise-wide IT modernization program as part of a five-year engagement.
According to the Indian IT services provider, Asahi Europe & International’s IT modernization program will be focused on rationalizing and standardizing services to its multiple business lines that cover more than 10,000 employees in 16 countries across four continents.
The digital transformation project is expected to boost the global operations of Asahi Europe & International by fully migrating its applications to the cloud, upgrading to a modern IT infrastructure, and consolidating vendors.

Tech Mahindra stated that the partnership will provide cloud-first and interoperable IT infrastructure operations to Asahi Europe & International.
The Indian IT firm will provide multiple services such as infrastructure and service desk operations, software infrastructure asset management (SIAM), device-as-a-service, application modernization, and cloud migration.
The partnership will drive the modernization of the drinks company’s digital core by centralizing business processes and powering them with latest technologies for maximum efficiencies and to help optimize business growth.
