Tech Mahindra launches Ops amplifAIer for enhancing IT support engineer productivity

Tech Mahindra, a pioneer in and business consulting services, has launched , a part of its TechM amplifAI 0->∞ suite. The new solution aims to boost the efficiency of IT support engineers by providing an integrated, single-pane view equipped with contextual information and tools for resolving issues. This offering also enhances team collaboration and incorporates generative AI capabilities to future-proof processes.

Ops amplifAIer: A New Approach to IT Support

The Ops amplifAIer solution by Tech Mahindra integrates seamlessly with existing ITOps tools to collate contextual information relating to IT tickets or alerts. It leverages generative AI technology to analyze this data and pinpoint potential root causes. It then provides diagnosis and remediation recommendations, generating relevant scripts in the process. Moreover, the solution includes an enterprise automation catalog, facilitating the reuse of automation assets like scripts or workflows across the organization.

Integration with Existing ITOps Tools

, CTO – Digital Services and Global Head – AI, Tech Mahindra, stated, “Enterprises have a system for every team such as the HRMS for HR, FMS for Finance, CRM for sales, etc. But there is no single system focused on IT support engineers. While there are multiple ITOps tools and each of them has core strengths, they lack completeness and hence, support engineers must log into multiple tools and toggle between them numerous times to analyze and resolve the tickets.”

Hasit Trivedi also highlighted how Ops amplifAIer comes with generative AI capabilities, making it easier for IT support engineers to analyze and resolve issues swiftly. The solution aims to fill the gap in the market by putting the support engineer at the heart of its design. “Enterprises are looking for technology that addresses modern workplace issues quickly to accelerate value and bring efficiency. With our know-how of customer context and in-depth expertise in AI technology, we developed Ops amplifAIer to accelerate the automation of complex IT processes,” Trivedi added.

The solution reduces the need for multiple logins across various ITOps tools by offering a unified operations console. The collected contextual data allows generative AI to perform most of the activities currently done by a support engineer, thereby simplifying everyday work complexities.
