Tata Power, Rustomjee to install EV charging infrastructure in Mumbai

Tata Power is joining forces with real estate developer Rustomjee Group to offer end-to-end electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions across all the latter’s residential and commercial projects in Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR).

Under the partnership, Tata Power will be installing dedicated charging infrastructure for residents of Rustomjee Group in Mumbai MMR. EV owners will get access to a round the clock charging facility plus maintenance support.

Sandeep Bangia — Tata Power Head- EV said: “We are happy to partner with Rustomjee Group and feel our collaboration will hasten the transition to EV adoption in Mumbai. It’s a step towards decarbonizing the transportation sector and making EVs more mainstream.”

According to Tata Power, customers can connect via the Tata Power EZ Charge mobile app for all services, which include remote vehicle charging monitoring and e-payments.

The collaboration is expected to help Rustomjee Group’s residents get access to an EV charging experience that is uniform and ubiquitous.
