Tata Power begins operations at Noorsar hybrid power project in Rajasthan

Tata Power said that its subsidiary Tata Power Green Energy Limited (TPGEL) has started operations at a 225MW hybrid power project in Noorsar, Rajasthan.

The power produced from the Noorsar hybrid power plant will be delivered under a 25-year power purchase agreement (PPA) to Tata Power, Mumbai Distribution, to fulfill the latter’s renewable purchase obligation (RPO).

According to Tata Power, the hybrid power project was awarded to TPGEL and its solar part was executed by Tata Power Solar Systems Limited.
