It offers an impressive range of 502 km and 585 km respectively, making it a compelling option for both daily commutes and long journeys.

The launch of the Curvv.ev, which will be followed by an internal combustion engine (ICE) variant, marks Tata Motors’ foray into the competitive mid-size SUV segment. The Curvv.ev is built on Tata Motors’ new acti.ev architecture and offers three distinct personas – Creative, Accomplished, and Empowered+. It boasts a range of advanced features designed to appeal to tech-savvy and safety-conscious consumers.

Design and Performance: The Curvv.ev merges SUV toughness with a stylish coupe silhouette. It features a unique design with flush door handles, R18 alloy wheels with Aero Inserts, and smart digital lighting elements, including connected LED DRLs and sequential turn indicators. The vehicle’s aerodynamic design is complemented by a spacious and well-appointed interior, offering a best-in-segment boot space of 500 litres and additional front trunk space of 11.6 litres.

Technology and Safety: The SUV is equipped with cutting-edge technology powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Digital Chassis Platform. It includes a 31.24 cm Cinematic Touchscreen by HARMAN™, a 26.03 cm Digital Cockpit, and advanced features like OTA capabilities, V2L, and V2V. The Curvv.ev also integrates the Tata.ev Charge Point Aggregator, providing access to over 9000 charging points across India.

Performance Metrics: The Curvv.ev is designed for high performance with a 123 kW / 167 PS powertrain that accelerates from 0-100 km/h in just 8.6 seconds. Its advanced charging technology enables a top-up of 150 km range in just 15 minutes. The SUV features three drive modes – Eco, City, and Sport – along with multi-mode regeneration and smart power electronics for a versatile driving experience.

Safety Features: The Curvv.ev prioritises safety with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) Level II, including 20 features, 6 airbags, all-wheel disc brakes, and various advanced safety technologies like Hill Descent Control and Electronic Parking Brake with Auto Hold.

Tata Curvv: The ICE Variant

Alongside the Curvv.ev, Tata Motors has introduced the Curvv in ICE versions, featuring two petrol engines and one diesel engine. The Curvv will be offered with Tata’s new Hyperion Gasoline Direct Injection (GDi) engine, which delivers enhanced power and efficiency. The ICE variant will also benefit from Tata’s new ATLAS architecture, designed to offer superior comfort, performance, and adaptability.

Engine Details: The Hyperion GDi engine provides a power output of 91.9 kW at 5000 rpm and a torque of 225 Nm at 1750-3000 rpm. It incorporates advanced technologies such as a 350-bar fuel injection system, variable geometry turbocharger, and miller cycle combustion chamber for improved performance and efficiency.
