Tata Consultancy Services to help Swiss Re develop digital workspace

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) said that it has expanded its 18-year partnership with Swiss Re to help the reinsurance giant develop a digital workspace that is more social and open by tapping the cloud with an aim to fuel better collaboration and innovation.

Under the initiative, the Indian IT services provider will help Swiss Re in further developing its future-ready, cloud-based digital workplace by employing Microsoft technologies, including Microsoft 365, and in handling the underlying operations.

Swiss Re and Tata Consultancy Services by adopting agile methods of working will collaboratively work to provide a persona-based, insights-driven user experience for more than 18,000 end-users.

Tata Consultancy Services said that it will help the Swiss reinsurance company boost operational excellence with lean processes across the end-to-end workplace support function by introducing automation and implementing the best practices of DevOps.

The Indian IT services company added that it will create self-heal and self-help operations for automating standard processes, and facilitate out-of-the box endpoints with a smooth corporate experience.

According to Tata Consultancy Services, the main focus area for the partnership will be to expedite the innovation pipeline within the organization, particularly in the areas of artificial intelligence (AI) and immersive experiences with the support of edge technologies in the market, which will help the reinsurance giant to strengthen its hybrid collaboration strategy.
