Tata Consultancy Services to help Bane NOR to bolster identity and access management

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) said that it has been roped in by Norwegian government agency Bane NOR for enabling secure access to the digital systems of the latter.

Bane NOR is entrusted with the task of maintaining, operating, and developing the railway network in Norway.

The Norwegian government agency required an all-inclusive partner to protect employees as well as partners’ and train operators’ access to the business systems.

As a strategic partner, Tata Consultancy Services’ teams based within Norway along with teams across Europe will provide services that encompass the areas of identity governance (IGA) access management, management of the identity lifecycle, and management of applications in the form of managed services.

The key element for this change is TCS IdentiFence is the identity and access management (IAM) module in Tata Consultancy Services’ Cyber Defense Suite.

The platform leverages its power through automation as well as analytics to provide the best accessibility to digital assets.

IdentiFence tackles access and identity threats through automated security controls and offers better administration and governance throughout the lifecycle of digital identity. It expedites speed to market a better user experience, as well as risk- and compliance-based access control across both on-premise and multi-cloud infrastructure.
