Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has inaugurated TCS Pace Port Toronto, its fifth research and co-innovation center around the world, which will help Canadian firms in expediting digital innovations.
TCS Pace Port Toronto houses an agile workspace, academic research lab, training space, and innovation showcase to promote quick prototyping, research, and commercialization of advanced technologies.
Located at 400 University Avenue, the TCS research and co-innovation center will enable companies to gain access to the latest technologies as well as breakthrough thinking from TCS Research labs, VCs, start-ups, academia, entrepreneurs, and TCS’ network of Pace Ports in New York, Amsterdam, Pittsburgh, and Tokyo.
Commenting on TCS Pace Port Toronto, Ananth Krishnan — Tata Consultancy Services Chief Technology Officer said: “Establishing a Pace Port in Toronto – North America’s fastest growing tech market — is part of a long-term TCS strategic plan for Canada that includes innovation labs, growing and reskilling our workforce, and our ongoing work with schools to support STEM education.”
According to Tata Consultancy Services, its TCS Pace Port hubs currently have more than 4,000 researchers and innovators, over 2,300 start-up partners, 67 academic partners, and 30+ innovation labs.
