Tanla Platforms incorporates new subsidiary Tanla Digital (India)

Tanla Platforms said that its fully-owned subsidiary Tanla Digital Labs Private Limited, has incorporated a 100% owned subsidiary – Tanla Digital (India) Private Limited.

According to the Hyderabad-based cloud communications company, initial subscription by the wholly-owned subsidiary does not come under related party transactions. Tanla Platforms also added that the company’s promoter and promoter group are not interested in the transaction.

The newly created Tanla Digital (India) Private Limited will be engaged in information technology, software solutions, consultancy services, and development of platforms.

Earlier this week, Tanla Digital Labs secured a patent under The Patents Acts, 1970 and rules of India for its Messaging Platform for Auditable Transmission of Messages from Sender Application Server to Recipient Application Server, dubbed as Wisely.

As per Tanla Platforms, the messaging platform innovation addresses the issue of inadequate transparency in commercial communication.

Wisely employs blockchain technology for recording multiple steps in the transmission of the commercial communication from the business enterprise to its end-customer. The innovation leverages the immutability of blockchain to allow the business enterprise to audit the count of messages and the message routing.

The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) had also issued a patent for the invention in addition to two other patents for secured transmission of messages with the help of enhanced encryption and decryption techniques.

Last month, Karix Mobile, another fully-owned subsidiary of Tanla Platforms, had struck a partnership with Swedish caller ID provider Truecaller for rolling out the Verified Business Caller ID solutions for enterprises.
