Tamilnad Mercantile Bank to offer life and general insurance products

Tamilnad Mercantile Bank (TMB) has entered into a partnership with Max Life Insurance Company and Cholamandalam MS General Insurance to launch the marketing of life insurance products and general insurance products, respectively.

The scheduled commercial bank, which is headquartered in Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu, has 509 branches and 12 regional offices across India.

S.Krishnan — Tamilnad Mercantile Bank MD and CEO said “On getting listed in the Stock Exchanges, Tamilnad Mercantile Bank Ltd., is back to enrich our vision in expanding the network PAN India, with added features in the products and services. We feel that this tie-up launching function is a momentous occasion for the Bank.”

Currently, Tamilnad Mercantile Bank has operations in 16 states and four union territories and is said to cater to over five million customers.
