Workday has agreed to acquire agentic identity governance specialist C1.ai, expanding its ambitions beyond human resources and financial management software. The proposed acquisition could give customers centralised control over employee and AI agent permissions, but financial terms remain undisclosed and commercial integration has yet to begin.
