Range Resources Corporation

EQT Corporation has agreed to acquire Range Resources in an all-stock transaction creating a natural gas producer with more than $50 billion in pro forma enterprise value. The proposed combination promises lower production costs and stronger access to growing gas demand, but its economic benefits remain dependent on commodity prices, integration and regulatory approval.
