Proscia

Agilent Technologies has completed its acquisition of digital pathology software company Proscia for $240 million in upfront cash, with up to $30 million in additional milestone payments. The transaction extends Agilent's position beyond laboratory instruments and reagents into enterprise software, but the commercial opportunity depends on customer adoption, integration and the monetisation of artificial intelligence-enabled pathology workflows.
