Vertical Aerospace will conduct piloted demonstration flights at the Farnborough International Airshow after receiving expanded UK regulatory approval. The milestone shows growing prototype maturity, but the company must still complete its certifiable design, secure substantial capital and deliver against a revised 2029 certification timetable.
