Voltas has announced a two-stage leadership transition, with Sunil D'Souza succeeding Noel Tata as chairman and Jayant Balan preparing to become managing director in May 2027. The changes come as room air conditioner volumes grow strongly but profitability remains exposed to input-cost inflation, seasonal demand and competitive pricing.
