ECB raises rates to 2.5% as $100 oil pushes eurozone inflation outlook higher
The European Central Bank has raised its deposit rate by 25 basis points to 2.5%, its second increase of 2026, while upgrading growth forecasts but warning that the Middle East energy shock could keep inflation above target for longer.
