Burberry Group plc reported its fourth consecutive quarter of comparable sales growth as stronger demand in the Americas and Greater China offset weaker tourist spending across Europe and the Middle East. The luxury group’s strategy is attracting new and younger customers, but a sharp share-price decline showed that investors still require stronger evidence of accelerating sales and sustainable margin recovery.
